@BeasltyFry I did more research than most people think. I knew what to take before I started p90x. GNC whey was affordable at the time until I seen I could buy ON at the same price somewhere else. Muscle Milk is junk, I knew that before p90x. Also p90x is not a program for just losing weight, its for muscle gain and weight loss. It was never intended to be a fat loss program. Carl Daikeler, CEO of beachbody even said so.

I havent really had a good tasting bar, the Cookies are insane, so if you can get them insted then deffinitly consider. =)…the 5g of creatine is the perfect dose, and the second protein powder u mention the gold standared is one of the highst % of protein you on the market. i think its around the 84%, but if you dont know what i mean maybe if i compare it to “muscle Milk” and that is less then 50% protein., good luck with the P90X but thats really for people that need to loose weight so….

I didn’t do a loading phase, there are people who say it helps and some say it doesn’t. I just started with 5 grams a day and stuck to that.

I usually take it with grape juice. And I take it everyday when Im on a cycle. When Im not, I take a week off then get back on it.

If you keep an eye out, you can find some really good deals at GNC. About a month after this video was posted I started using casein protein. I wanted to use up atleast one tub of the 100% GS before I spent any more money on supplements.

GNC is kind of convenient sometimes but way too expensive… You might want to look into casein protein for night time. its slower absorbing than whey.

@graphic I was getting more protien per scoop from the 100% gold standard. That is the reason I switched. Plus the flavors are far better than the GNC whey. Just look for something that you will like the taste of and that has a good protein gram to scoop gram ratio.

I’d go with one that fits best into your diet. I only use protein bars as meal replacements, never as a snack, so I look for ones that have about 20 grams of protein, usually about 30-40 grams of carbs and not too much fat. If I have to use one as a complete meal replacement, I want one that is going to give me around the same nutritional content as a meal I would normally eat.

@Colbert654 I personally have only tried isopure once. The reason I chose ON gold standard was the taste. I’ve seen many different people have great results on all kinds of protein powders. Find one that has a good taste and a good protein gram to scoop gram ratio and you will be set.

Can you comment on Isopure vs. Gold Standard? Just wondering if brand makes a difference since I recall seeing another P90X-er say he only did the GNC 100% Whey post-workout and nothing else and still had great results (stuck with diet too).

i have tried strawberry its taste nastyyyyy!!!
sorry i did not like it at all but vanilla is awesome i bought strawberry and had to use a close-pin on my nose so i did not taste it so i think its better off with cookies and cream or vanilla if chocolate lover then chocolate just not strawberry..
